1 · Information we collect

We collect the information you provide directly when you fill in the contact form on this site. That form asks for:

  • your name;
  • your work email address;
  • your company or organization;
  • the size of your portfolio, chosen from a list of ranges;
  • an optional message.

Those are the only fields the form has. We don't ask for a phone number, a job title, or anything about your properties or tenants, and there is no other form on this site.

Ledgerstone accounts are created in the product, not on this site. This policy covers this website. Information handled inside the product is covered by the agreement under which you use it.

2 · Automatically collected information

When you visit this site, a small amount of information is recorded automatically:

  • Server logs. Our web server records the requested address, the time of the request, your IP address, and the browser identification string your browser sends. This is ordinary web server logging.
  • Analytics. We use a privacy-focused analytics service that counts page views and referring sites. It does not set cookies and does not follow you across other websites.
  • Spam protection. The contact form uses a challenge service to distinguish people from automated submissions. That service receives your IP address and information about your browser in order to make that assessment.
  • Rate limiting. We briefly hold your IP address in the web server's memory to limit how many times the contact form can be submitted from one address. It is not written to a database and does not survive a restart.

3 · How we use information

4 · Service providers

We use a small number of outside services to run this website. Each receives only what it needs to do its job.

  • Plausible Analytics — website analytics. Cookieless, and does not collect personal information.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile — spam protection on the contact form.

[pending] Two providers are not yet chosen and so cannot be named accurately: the hosting provider (⚑ B) and the transactional email provider that delivers contact form submissions (L6). Both must be named here before launch.

We do not use an advertising network, and there is no payment provider on this website.

7 · Cookies

This site sets no advertising cookies and no analytics cookies. We don't track you across other websites, and we don't build a profile of you. That is why you aren't asked to accept cookies when you arrive.

One cookie is set, and only when you use the contact form. It is a security token that confirms the form was submitted from this site rather than forged by another one. It contains no information about you, and it is required for the form to work.
