About

Ledgerstone is CAM reconciliation and lease administration software for commercial property, built around the accounting system you already use.

Why Ledgerstone exists

Every commercial property has two sources of truth. The books say what the building spent. The leases say what each tenant owes. The gap between them is the annual CAM reconciliation, and in most organizations it is closed by a person and a spreadsheet, under deadline, from memory.

That spreadsheet works until it doesn’t. A recoverable expense is missed because it was posted to an account nobody thought to include. A cap or a base year is applied the way it was last year rather than the way the lease says. A tenant questions a figure eighteen months later and the answer has to be rebuilt, because the workbook kept the total and not the reasoning.

Ledgerstone was built to close that gap properly: lease terms held as data, expenses read straight from the books, and a reconciliation that shows its working on every line.

What we build

Software for commercial property owners and managers who keep their books in QuickBooks Online. Connect the books, enter each lease’s terms once, and run the year: every tenant’s share, base year, cap and gross-up applied the way its lease says, with every figure linked to the entry behind it. Tenants open their statement online, see how it was calculated, and pay it.

Ledgerstone doesn’t ask your business to change shape to fit the software.

Who it is for

Owners and managers of office, retail, industrial and mixed-use property who bill tenants for their share of operating expenses and want the reconciliation to be a process rather than a project. It isn’t a residential product, and it isn’t built around work orders or investor reporting.

How we work

Ledgerstone is built by a team with a background in commercial property accounting and financial software, and it is built around one principle: the owner’s books stay the owner’s books. We read from QuickBooks Online; we never restructure it.

We release improvements continuously, we take feature requests directly from the people who use the product, and support is answered by people who work on it. A question about a specific lease or reconciliation reaches someone who can open it and look.

How we talk about the product

No superlatives, no invented metrics, no manufactured urgency. Where a number would help, we publish the one we can support and leave out the ones we can’t. What the product does is on this site in plain terms, and what it doesn’t do is listed below.

What Ledgerstone doesn’t do

As of August 2026

  • It doesn't replace QuickBooks Online. Your accounting system stays your accounting system.
  • It isn't a general accounting package.
  • It isn't a work-order or maintenance system.
  • It isn't an investor-management or distribution platform.

Ledgerstone reads your expense data from QuickBooks Online and posts the finished recovery back to it. It isn't a second general ledger.
